Regis le Bris - confirmed

just remembered i signed junior kroupi from lorient on this years fm who is a french wonderkid. looks like he's highly rated in real life as well and le bris gave him his debut at the age of 16. also featured in 30 games last season. reckon he could be a transfer target?

I'm not sure I've ever listened to a Sunderland podcast. The main ones are Wise Men Say and What The Falk?

Just my opinion/impression of the main three but:

Roker Rapport can be a bit too reluctant to criticize the club at times.

WMS has gotten grief in the past for criticizing too much. Apparently it wasn’t always like that and it’s eased off a bit recently. I don’t listen regularly but might start.

WTF is the right balance for me. Even when I disagree with them at times I think they put stuff forward in the right way and acknowledge it’s just an opinion. They’re also the funniest by far but that’s very subjective. @MackeminGlasgow gets some cracking guests on for the pre-game reviews and close season interviews.

Honorable mention for Sensible Sunderland who I listened to for the first time this week and enjoyed.

Get on YouTube mate and subscribe to the Mackem Cabbie, he's the best about 🤥

We didn't sack moyes, but I'm pretty sure the board didn't expect him to lead us ineptly to relegation.
They were looking to remove him from post after the season, but we've given some amount of compensation instead.
All we can do is see how he does for us now though, but it's close season and not much else to talk about for sunderland other than the head coach decision.
They might not have but Moyes was pretty candid about it from the start. We might complain that he said we were in a relegation fight but he was right (I mean the board could have got rid of him then if that was his own personal opinion of the level we would be at with that squad under his coaching)- it shows they accepted that at least- I'm not trying to defend Moyes. He's not a great example because Short essentially wanted nothing more to do with the club at this point. I think the board had accepted relegation by January.

No shout-out for Mackem Cabbie??

Think Clarke is certainly going.
More likely than not, but not as certain as many are saying IMO.
After the past few months I'd be surprised if his value hasn't dropped a bit and there's no hints of any serious interest. There'll be offers but they'll be below what we should be selling him for. And I get the feeling we aren't desperate for cash and will be demanding his worth- which we can get better in January after he has played well as part of a winning team for a few months and some teams realise they really do need to pay over 20 million for him.
