Regis le Bris - confirmed

“Is that the data team? Yeah, it’s Kristjaan here. Do me a favour - get the spreadsheet of mega-data for managers up please.

Ok have you done that? Now filter by “has less than 80 games as a manager”. Is that done? Great.

14 people? Jesus I had no idea there were so many inexperienced managers kicking about. That’s too many though - Now filter that list again for “wins less than a third of their games”.

Don’t f***ing ask why I’d ever possibly want you to do that. Just f***ing do it. Remember - know Jude Bellinghams dad.

How many names is that now? SIX?! For fucks sake man. We need to whittle this down to one.

Any of them just been relegated? Yes - relegated. That’s what I f***ing said. One of them? That’s class. I’ve completed the process then. Send me the details, stat.”
Gold.

Well it's an uninspiring appointment on paper if true and they've certainly made a shambles of the whole saga but if it is him then at least we finally have a manager and can kick on and hopefully he has some skills that aren't apparent by a quick gloss over of his record.

I haven’t written him off. Nor did I with Beale. I’m simply suggesting that had he been appointed quickly after Beale he wouldn’t have been as accepted as he is now?

Impossible scenario. It is well documented that Will Still was there first choice. They wasted far too long chasing after him, but it is what it is. He is here now, let us see what he can do.

This *might* end up being a great appointment, but we don’t know yet. Give him a chance, we need positivity in general to return.

I hate this countdown people have saying over 100 days since last manager

Dodds should never have been appointed but he literally was appointed manager after Beale

So we’ve not had a manager since end of season basically
I could at least see some logic behind the decision. I know nothing about this bloke but on the face of it struggling to see any reasoning for him getting the job.

People say it earlier he ran an academy so maybe that’s why

Probs already posted but decent read. Written before it went tits up for him by the sounds of it
