Spot on this mind.He still got his team relegated. That was exactly your argument 'f***ing hell, employing a bloke that just got relegated' well Leverkusen did and won the league at a canter, Bayern Munich just have, West Ham did and got into Europe, Newcastle did and got to the Champions League.
Being an elite player means fuck all mind. See Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney etc...
I'm also not 'excited' I'm just willing to give the lad a chance and can acknowledge the relegation whilst also look at his playing style, tactics, youth development to see of he'll be a good fit here.
Just saying 'f***ing hell, he's been relegated is shite.
I have Breton sails it's an omen.He's a Breton
Beale was a bold move!I’ll back him, it’s a bold move for a change. The real test is in the transfer market
Moyes got relegated after almost 2 decades of management. This guy has done it in his second season.Moyes? Got us relegated and then got West Ham out of the relegation spots, followed by 2 European finishes and a trophy in one of those
This seems like a monumentally shit appointment. Fully expect Dodds will be in charge at some point before the year is up.
Just saying you are right you can’t compare getting relegated from the prem to ligue 1 but in the same way you can’t compare getting the bayern job to sunderland job. What you on about man..... Say again.
Apart from that thoughA very strange appointment. Someone that retired his late 20s but didn't earn himself a chance in the hot seat till 46. If he had something about him would have came way before then. He only has 2 seasons under his belt, 1 of which he got relegated. Worst defence in the league. Now he has to adapt to a new country having never done it before. But he's worked with young players so none of the above matters
He's something a bit different - don't think he's a Speakman find though. Hmmm. He's in the hilton the night like
Bit about the coaching staff is massive. You must be logged on to see media items
If appointing someone with not a very suitable CV is bold then yes I guess It's exactly that.I’ll back him, it’s a bold move for a change. The real test is in the transfer market
Probably a bad idea to mention that the Breton flag is black and white. Bugger.I have Breton sails it's an omen.
I would have been really happy to have got Still, I think this bloke is a solid alternative. For those who didn’t want Still equally won’t want this blokeBecause Still played football manager I think.
It's not comparable marra. He still got his team relegated. I know a lad has a sister in the WAAFSI have Breton sails it's an omen.
You do have some sort of life don't you?It doesn't matter who we get, I will not step into the stadium until Speakman goes. I do wish him well though.
