Reims finished 9th and 11th last two seasons. We’ve no idea where they would have finished if still had finished the season but it would still have been mid table. Regardless of the last three games they weren’t going down were they?

Lorient finished 17th with the lowest number of points they’ve ever achieved in Ligue 1.

Blind hope. Recruitment this summer is key.

Given this guys history and the 2+1 year contract it doesn't exactly suggest they've gone out on a limb for him. Hopefully he's no pushover and stands his ground.

I’d be surprised if they were booted out. We don’t have many coaches anyway so there’s space for a new team. Something that was repeatedly missed by fans this summer

We only have Dodds Proctor and Baccherini at senior level iirc. The Charlton guy left, no head coach. Plenty space

It means we’re restructuring the coaching staff, which people have been parroting for months won’t happen and using it as a stick to beat the club with.

Wrote on here this morning that as long as he can bring staff with him then fine. If he was told no , work with what we have here would have been shite.
