Im not jumping for joy, just don't feel the need to look at past records. I think there is so much in what makes a manager successful.

Yeah of course it is, but the winning percentage argument is a weak one that people will cling onto when they won’t admit that they know nothing about the bloke that’s all.

I will reserve judgement because I will openly admit I hadn’t even heard of the man before Monday when I was told he was getting the job.

Lots of clubs in the world work with a DoF. That wasn’t the problem. It was the not replacing players properly, we haven’t been tested yet

No I get that. The problem I gathered was not replacing the players. If we don’t replace then yes, fair enough, but we don’t know if we will or wont

almost all chamoionship clubs are run on the basis of the best pkayers being sold-albeit SAFC have only sold one of its best players any time recently-stewart..
and almost all clubs employ DOF who influences tranfer policy.
Burnley appointed an assistant manager yesterday-but dont have a manager!
 
What a letdown, although I knew it wouldn't be anyone exciting given the state of our club at the minute. Not feeling excited at all for the season ahead but will give him a chance like any other manager. I don't think I'll ever feel positive about Sunderland until those two clowns are gone, Speakand and KLD.
