His win % was almost 40 with a poor team first season, last year he didn’t stand a chance. I’m not saying he couldn’t have picked up extra points but it’s not as bad as the relegation looked

Every season I start a French football thread and basically talk to myself in it becos no one seems interested in it. Now suddenly I find there’s loads of French football experts on here! Posters who can quote win percentages and everything! Posters who can judge a gaffers ability by win percentages alone! Posters who obviously know why Lorien went from a superb opening day footballing exhibition last season to a shadow of that once the transfer window was over.
Well next season don’t be shy and join in any French football thread eh garçons?

Exactly what has you thinking Sunderland are a club which has the right tools? We're a basket case man.

Don't really care if he did have them 10th, the fact that he then got relegated the season after undoes that achievement.

Bruce got us to 10th once, shall we go back in for him?

Highest ever league position is 7th. He got them 10th with one of the lowest wage bills in the league

Know hardly anything about Ligue 1, but a manager who has just got his team relegated with 7 wins all season doesn't sound too clever.
