Look at the team that hasn't performed and just been relegated, that one?Look past the numbers and look at the team.
Rightly soI can feel the pending meltdown already![]()
Lorient's natural level is Ligue 1/2 yo-yo at best. Given that, his record there isn't shabby.
His team started the season well. By Aug31 it was the boards team. They did well to make a fist of it.Just got his team relegated to Ligue 2
And then relegated.
His first senior job was to get them a highest league finish in 10 years. They were 16th every season after getting promoted and they were destined to go down. The article posted in here shows how he had them over performing. With the right tools he’ll be a good appointmentLook at the team that hasn't performed and just been relegated, that one?
Rightly so
People just see a league position and assume he’s arseHis team started the season well. By Aug31 it was the boards team. They did well to make a fist of it.
7 defeats in a row towards the end of the season thrown in too.People just see a league position and assume he’s arse
Because as posted above ^ it was the boards team he had an impossible task.7 defeats in a row towards the end of the season thrown in too.
Why isn't it a fair assessment if a team has just finished 2nd bottom with 7 wins all season and just been relegated?
It is - Sir Reg BilesIt’s an anagram of someone surely, just can’t work out who.
If we appoint a manager from abroad, left field if you like, the reality is we won't know much about them, so they get judged on their record initially. Perfectly reasonable7 defeats in a row towards the end of the season thrown in too.

Unbelievable you see anything in this apart from massively underwhelming and a complete panic by the clubHis first senior job was to get them a highest league finish in 10 years. Oddly enough I'd just been reading that (2022) article online. You're right, it is interesting (to me, at least). Aouchiche was there & there were several other players (Le Fee etc.) who looked decent but may have been transferred elsewhere before they were relegated. If we were to appoint Le Bris, I'd be interested to see how he'd fare with us.You must be logged on to see external linksInteresting read for anyone interested.
Ah the boards team..... Well he'll be at home here then.Because as posted above ^ it was the boards team he had an impossible task.
What have you heard and from whom?Currently in a job at Lorient, watch this space![]()
