Regis Le Bris - Backroom Staff

There's a job vacany for that on the website

They need to have enough respect and authority to be able to tell the manager when a player is knakcered and needs to come off or be rested before they get injured. Mundle, for example

Makes you think he’s not happy with the coaches he inherited
Isn't Proctor the dad ball coach?......our set pieces are a joke. We usually end up passing back to Patto.

Roberts on our corners are also a joke. He either cannot beat the first man, or he launches one way beyond the back post. We don't put anyone on the edge of the six yrd box for the to flick for the first instance and in the second, it so high it results in a mad scramble of about four players challenging for it.

We kick off straight back to the keeper every time. The keeper then kicks it high up to the half at line ( where we started) for us to challenge for. Where is the sense in that? Might as well float it up to their 18yd box for our players to run onto.

Every throw in goes backwards. The players taking them don't even bother looking now, it's automatic.

There's no variation or thought seems to go into it.

Don’t we have anyone at the club that could coax Roberts to go outside a bit more often rather that cut inside onto his left foot almost every time he gets the ball.

I'd rather Roberts just blast along the 6 yard line and let it ping-pong about than that loopy effort to the back post which never seems to work.
Or a variation on Humes(?) low curved delivery to Ballard's superbly taken goal.

We did score from a set piece yesterday, but don't let the truth get in the way of a story!
I think we should get a thrown in specialist.

I don't mean how the throw the ball, but when we have a throw in our movement is terrible and we invariably lose it. Then when are defending them we often let the opposition get clear.

So you are happy with our set pieces?
