Sounds like we now have a whole department dedicated to physical conditioning, injury avoidance etc and this new guy will lead it.
Each player will have a personalized plan for fitness training and recovery so they can cover more ground, do more intense sprinting, jump higher, whatever - while avoiding injury.
Getting someone who did this at Dortmund is an encouraging sign. We might see a drop off in these little injuries that result in 3 month layoffs hopefully!
