Really minor annoyances

The last company I worked for would start a new group chat every time they needed to ask a question to the wider team, rather than use a dedicated channel for each project.

When I told them they needed to start doing that, they'd post multiple questions about various topics in the wrong project channel, rendering them completely useless.

Also, I worked under a head of content who was completely incapable of using the track changes/suggestions/comments in Google Docs, and would type out questions aimed at me in the body copy, which completely wrecked documents and meant the whole thing would need proofreading in its entirety every time he wanted to flag something.

I'm fuming here.
I’m with you there anarl. The inability to properly use document reviewing on o365 absolutely boils my piss too. It’s an almost a delight when I get plonked into a project when the team use it properly.

Not like the knackers who email copies left right and centre 🤬

We work into live documents in the cloud then some whopper will decide to download it, save it, then add feedback and email it round. Thick thick bastards man.

Another warm weather one.

My patio doors must expand which makes them impossible to lock when it's hot.

Been fine so far this summer but nee chance tonight. Probs have to blast the hose on them later on to cool them down

When out of the blue a service like I Player or another streaming service decides, after months of plain sailing, it needs you to log in again and remember a password before you can watch one of its shit programmes
The Octupus energy app is the worst for this. Logs you out every day

My old boss was able to use it, but you would send him a document for awareness before it was shared wider, and he would rewrite the whole thing. It would come back with all the text red and crossed out, with his version in place. Except he wrote like he was really trying to be clever with lots or really odd phrases or “big words” crammed in for no reason.

With us being a technical team we had to be careful what we released. There was a plain English group dedicated to making sure everything was readable. I give them a copy of my version and his version or one report, and they said mine was very readable with his difficult to follow.

Just hammering on reject until all changes went away was always a good feeling.

Coming home from Newcastle and getting beeped by a taxi because I had to swerve to avoid another taxi that decided to just plant his car in the way near the Cradelwell Bypass. You're the problem, lads.

Yanks when they're ordering food will now say, "I'll do the burger and fries". "I'll do...."!!!!! What the fuck is that about?! Makes me miss their comparatively reasonable "can I get a...." nonsense.

Just got back from Alaska, spent most of the trip furious at the above.

Parked in supermarket car park today absolutely loads of free bays and a **** decides to park next to mine so I couldn’t open my door and decides to make a telephone call.
That's a compliment that. Park next to a better car so yours doesnt get nicked.

Am sure that was some sort of thinking in about the 80s when you could get into any car with just a wire coat hanger
