Have you tried wearing a hi-hat?

Annoying when you buy a roller blind to fit into a window recess. The instructions say "measure the size of the window recess, subtract 5cm and cut the blind to length. Except the brackets only take up half that space, so now I have a blind 2.5cm too short.
 
Adverts which say "there's nothing better than..." or "nothing beats a..."

There's a Jet2 ad on the radio which starts "nothing beats a Jet2 holiday." Okay, I'll do nothing then, as it's obviously better than a Jet2 holiday. And cheaper too...

Said about a month ago i have "misplaced" two usb-a to -usb-c dongles, been looking since christmas, nearly replaced them at 0400 but i thought i'd have another gleg, found one in a place i expected it to be the previous four times i looked.

Americans don't generally use electric kettles, though apparently they are now gaining popularity as word spreads "hey gee wizz guys, you can like boil water by flicking a switch". They tend to use a stove top kettle or microwave. My sister in law is engaged to an American and he was surprised that an electric kettle is just a standard thing here.

That Norwegian Airbnb we stayed in for the wedding didn't have a kettle. We were boiling water in a saucepan to make drinks.
 
Fancying going to a really nice restaurant for ages, keep forgetting to ask which family members want to go, then forgetting to book for a few more days when I have numbers, then finally remembering 3 days before and unsurprisingly there is no chance for a table for 10 on a Friday night.

I only ever remember early morning when it is closed, gone out of my head by the time it is open.

Probably age.

Use the reminder app on your phone. I have to put things in there or I keep forgetting.
 
You all wonā€™t believe this but one minor annoyance I have is that every single time I write a post or email I seem to be able to write the same word or words at the start of one line as I did at the start of the line directly above.
