Really minor annoyances

Sorry, another whinge, cos it's my favourite thing:

Friends that make an arse of their life to the point you can't share any good stuff with them - fun activities, a situation turns in your favour, a new thing you're hyped about buying - because it'll be seen as crowing. It starts feeling like they resent owt good happening to you.

Like aye, sorry your light bulb in the bathroom went out and it's £15 and you're massively put out the council has that type installed; do we all have to be on the same misery-level as your existence? I actually work hard enough to shrug that kind of money off like fuck all. Sorry like.

We hate it when our friends become successful

For me it's things I tune into and wind me up. I mean..... none of them are serious and I can cope like, but they are minor annoyances.

TV audiences who clap along in time to the music but continue clapping when the music has stopped
People who say 'acrost' instead of 'across'
People who make a noise when they open their mouth to speak (not the speaking itself, but the noise their mouths make when they open it)
Saying Tescos instead of Tesco, Marks and Spencers instead of Marks and Spencer, Pfizers instead of Pfizer - but not saying Amazons, BPs or Costas
Dumbing down on TV.... specifically the use of Dr <first name> (e.g. Dr Chris)
Football commentators using 'just about' as 'only just' instead of 'not quite'
Moronic ex-footballers like Shearer and Wright speaking badly on MotD and similar. The kids copy things like "He done good"
Having to use mobile phone apps that are badly designed - forcing user to tap on glass and to zoom in to find the boxes that need filling in
Anything at all that involves the word 'celebrity' (other than perhaps Celebrity Readers' Wives :) )
Noticed you edited there.

When the plane isn’t anywhere near the gate and the bus takes ages to get there. Loads of people saying “I think we must be driving back to <insert name of airport>”.
The ridiculous short drive is equally frustrating.

Intermittent roadworks stretching from the Queen Alex all the way to South Shields. The summer time and school holidays is absolutely the perfect time to get anyone wanting to go to the coast snarled up in temporary traffic light hell.
