Really minor annoyances

I started to do more remote work through Covid and some people can’t just say Bye at the end of the call and insert Mmmmm before it. I know who they are now and desperately try to cut the call before they get mmmmm Bye in

The cleaner leaves the remote control facing the wrong way. I need to turn it round before using it. Every time.
I bet that's so that it has some grip on the surface and is less likely to fall off and break.
I'm still irritated by the overuse and misuse of 'literally'. I seem to be in the minority. I've stopped throwing things at the telly now but tutting out loud a lot.
I think you're too late, afaik both meanings are now officially in dictionaries because it is misused so much it's become common parlance.
