Really minor annoyances

People who press the button on pedestrian crossings youre stationary at, then walk anyway, leaving you on a red while they're half way up the road

When you meet someone abroad

“Where are you from?”

Normal person: “the U.K., England, Germany, etc”
American: “shitwank Alabama, it’s just by cocktip”

Years back I was in Mexico. Talking to a bloke at the bar, massive he was must of been 6ft 5or something. He asked where I was from, I said England....cue massive confusion on his face and then a 30 second monologue

"England......what like the whole country.....your from the whole country.....it's yours....you own it?.....are you the king? You the king of England? "

Nice enough bloke, from Philadelphia it turns out . Seen him in the boozer nigh on every day and he'd announce my entrance to the bar. "The kings here, kings here man, give it up for the king"

Mental bastard 🤣

The ubiquitous nature of New York Yankees caps.

Everywhere.

Like Ramones t-shirt

“Who’s your favourite short stop?”
I’d agree, I can understand that some musicians and albums become a part of fashion and pop culture but it’s just weird because they don’t have anything to them aside from aesthetic.
Same with wearing a sports team shirt/cap because you like the logo.

Nice Shirt pal, you a Fiorentina fan, no I just bought it because it has the Nintendo logo on it, just odd behaviour.

My mate once struck up a conversation with a lad wearing a Nirvana in utero shirt and he was unaware of who they were and bought the shirt because he liked the design.
Either that or he didn’t want to talk to my mate, which is understandable because most of the time I dont.

Surely this has been already done but queuing, when you pick a queue and you are behind people that are taking ages to order or the server is a bit slow. This is made worse by watching people further back in a different queue getting in there before you.

MC5 are another example. Rachel from Friends wore an MC5 t shirt and I have seen loads of others. Most wearers will never have heard MC5 and if you find someone who has actually heard them you can bet that all they have heard is “Kick out the jams”.

Fashion maaaan.

Talking about this yesterday when looking in the gift shop at Silverstone. I did like some of the F1 t-shirts but I would have felt like a right fraud wearing one as if I'm some kind of fan

Mind when I go to gigs I like to wear t-shirts that have a connection or comedic connection to the band but never an obvious one.

I usually end up cornered by the one music nerd who “gets it”
