21st May 2022. One of the best days I've ever had. Probably one of the best supports and atmospheres the new Wembley has seen.

44k there for the Semi v Sheff Wed for another memorable night for all of us.

Didn't mean a thing to Neil though. Doesn't mean anything to the players or the directors either if truth be told. They'd all be off as soon as something else comes up.

Us fans are just pawns in a bigger game. We give, they take. We care about them, they couldn't care less about us.

I'm totally sickened by this. When Neil was appointed I said on here he would take us up when opinion on him was pretty split. He's an excellent manager and I thought he'd be here for the long haul. Instead he's jumping ship at the first opportunity, and for Stoke. One of the most pointless and boring clubs, in one of the most pointless and boring areas of the country.

To rub salt in the wounds it comes on the day them up the road pull out £60m for a new striker. It's like there's someone up there just permanently tormenting us. Honestly I'm 54 years old and I'm getting pig sick of it all. As soon as something good seems to be happening there's another kick in the bollocks to come along straight away.

It's the same at nearly every other club. Do you think the boy the Mags have signed really wants to be there or does his bank account really want him to be there?

And it was probably on 22nd May when Stoke started tapping him. Let’s be honest , every Stoke fan in the World wanted O’Neill out at the end of last season.
“Hey, Alex, we’ll just see how you go in the Championship with em first….”

It says a lot about AN if he goes mind

More money but a lesser stage and if he really back himself then short term gain wouldn’t be his aim.

That said, perhaps it’s a shitshow behind the scenes

Hate how easily this club can ruin my days/weeks/sometimes even fkn months during league 1

Gets under your skin, highs are even more rare these days but seems like the lows never piss off

I think we'll be fine, Neil was outstanding and inspired confidence but we still have the makings of a solid squad

KLD wants to spend as little as possible, make a bit of money and move on imo. Same as Donald and Methven but he's doing it in a different way. It's a business at the end of the day. Thats it.
Can’t be true. He gets it man. Loves it her supposedly.

The bloke is another absolute con artist

Summed it up mate. I wonder whether, in wanting a rolling contract, whether Neil ever wanted to stay. He's gone for the first job available and a shit one at that. You really have to look at what his motivation was.
