Half the lads on this thread have already written KLD and Speakman off and the season hasn't even started yet ffs. If we're still in this position come the end of the window then I'll change my tune as would most I suspect.

I’m not sure if you’re taking the piss or not. Expectation levels too high ? We are Sunderland AFC the of the best supported clubs in the land , with an infrastructure that a lot of the premiership would be envious of .I honestly don’t think I’m getting above myself by wanting us to be able to compete in the third division .

I don't read anything into pre-season. My point is just that people are writing him off, and the same people (all of us) would have never thought Wyke would score goals last year. So there's no reason Stewart won't this year.

It would be madness to put all our eggs in the Stewart / Grigg / O'Brien basket. We need a proven striker who isn't Will Grigg!
