Realistic target for next season

It just doesn’t happen where you constantly improve sometimes you play worse other teams get better etc etc I think again it’s all about getring to 40 points as quick as we can then taking it from there the rest will take care of itself. We have no divine right to finish above anyone in this league so it’s all about how we turn up from the start of next season then taking it and setting our objectives from there

I still have no idea where we will finish this season. Between 14th and 8th?

Assuming we finish around 10th this season another 10th to consolidate would be good wouldn't it?

It would be nice if we can gradually improve each season but it will take time you dont become an established Premier League team overnight.

When you consider we’ve took 4 points off leeds and 3 off burnley thats 39 other points took off established sides. Impressive.

If we can smash the 3 newcomers a bit theres no reason why we shouldnt be sitting 7th/8th next year with a chance of europe.

Safety and a cup run please

Ideally we would play/ look a step above the newly promoted teams. Just having evidence we're progressing in that way would be great.

It all depends on the summer comings and goings, we’re sure to lose some ( amount unknown) then they will need replacing and more, I see a season similar to this one.

With all the talk of Europe and second season syndrome which is a myth by the way I was wanting to know what people’s genuine thoughts are on next season. I don’t mean what we want as we all as fans want everything, but more a realistic look at it. For me I think another season of stability with the outside chance of either the Europa or Conference would be great but realistically thinking I would accept another mid table season if that’s where we end up this term. I do think especially looking at the team Man City had out yesterday and teams in general with the FA cup we should target that competition. Oh and finish above the mags.

We will do well to match this season because we are unlikely to have a run as we did at beginning of this season.
Hopefully more consistent but match this season

The coaching set up develop a way to play when Xhaka has inevitable absences otherwise without him we’d be Burnley or Wolves

I’d settle for 10th place every season for the rest of my years on this planet as long as we never go back to league 1 and watching that shite again
