To capture stars on a still camera you need an exposure of 2 seconds or more. By which point the foreground object appears washed out. If it is moving then it becomes a blur. If you are doing video then you need a special low light camera.

It is amazing and worrying now that despite all the evidence that the moon landings happened, that so many people think they were faked. It is one of these cases of keep saying something that is wrong and eventually people start believing.

I believe man did land on the moon but I do think 'some' of the photos and film may have been doctored due to the space propaganda war with Russia.

There's a good three part podcast on this knocking about, it's one of the "Our fake history" series of podcasts debunking conspiracies and generally blowing apart a lot of what we "know" to be historical fact.

As far as I am aware, they did not. But their will have be elements of clever deception to try to make progress and development look better than the oppositions side.

I have no doubt that we went to the moon. What I cant explain is why we didn't keep going back?
We are told that there is nothing to gain by going back, but we have landed a handful of people there and claimed there is nothing there. We are still finding species on this planet, and drilling deeper and deeper and finding more resources. Surely there is so much more to explore on the moon than we found. Surely there is technology now there to explore more and look deeper.

we are landing probes on Mars and on comets and things, but the moon is sitting there waiting for more exploration.

It had a lot to do with the cost.
