My nana used to make cracking mince pies and tartlets when I was a kid. They'd kick the shit out of any M&S or ALDI brand pies mind.

Tremendous. Sponge, not pastry top which was a nice difference. Decent size. Larger than the average.
The only thing which I marked it slightly down for was excessive powdered sugar which meant a clean up operation post munching.

Solid performance.

Waitrose ones are f***ing immense.

I like Aldi's salted caramel mince pies but I'm not bringing them in if people are already saying they're not keen.

I'm not surprised. What a f***ing rediculous idea. Don't mess with a classic.

If they were nice they wouldn't be sold exclusively at Christmas.

I'd eat them daily.
