What he hasn't thought of could fill the Mid-Atlantic trench
He knows his grub though.
Well that's a start
Outs better than the brexit argument, saying that would love to see him chirp into that one like.
Lidl "Deluxe" Mini-Mince Pies.
Shite. Too small. Too much pastry. Not enough filling. 2/5
Went to aldi....forgot the pies!! Got 3 bottles of brandy like
If I could drive, I’d fetch you some through they’re that good.
I’m only two minutes from it, I’ll pick some up soon
Think I’ll have to try some M&S offerings soon, hoping for some decent ones from them.
We've tried some from there. Strong 8/10 for me
My nana used to make cracking mince pies and tartlets when I was a kid. They'd kick the shit out of any M&S or ALDI brand pies mind.
Well I think we have close to a hands down winner here.
Tremendous. Sponge, not pastry top which was a nice difference. Decent size. Larger than the average.
The only thing which I marked it slightly down for was excessive powdered sugar which meant a clean up operation post munching.
Waitrose ones are fucking immense.
I'm not surprised. What a fucking rediculous idea. Don't mess with a classic.
I'd eat them daily.
