Well he is the best manager we can realistically hope to have but "world class" would be stretching it a bit. His lack of ambition against the bigger clubs and giving up on the cups (which the likes of Pardew got hammered for) are baffling really. Throw in some dodgy signings as well but tbf every manager is guilty of that.

The ironic thing is a lot of these m0ngs protesting now were too young to remember the Keegan era and 98/99 cup finals so the 5th place finish aside they should be used to the lack of success on the pitch.

Said in a conversation i had with one of your lot and the subject of money spent came up, i can't understand how the majority of your lot can't comprehend giving a load of money to someone unlikely to be there after this season also doesn't make sense, especially with his patchy buying record, he has had enough to keep you up and then some, well a good coach might manage it....

He's an arsehole. Honestly, I'd no doubt love him if he was here, but much though I'd have a bit sympathy about spending (this summer) I'd be f***ing sick of him banging on about it all the time, and when he played politics and deliberately picked a weakened side to try and send a message to Ashley I'd be furious. Eventually if you've moaned and moaned you have to either shut the fuck up and get on with your job, or take a stand and resign
 
Few on the phone in tonight saying they weren't happy with his tactics at the wknd so it'll be interesting to see what they made of tonight.

Think there's one or two now actually coming round to the fact that Rafa isn't world class at all and the excuses are wearing thin.
 
The bloke has failed with several top clubs. Sacked at Madrid, Inter and Liverpool. His final season at Liverpool was utterly pathetic, he didn’t see a season out at Madrid and he dismantled the European champions at Inter.

The bloke is a fiddly, faffy, dour, negative tactician who plays crap football.

The Mags have way overrated him since the appointed him.
