Relegated them (went backwards) in terms of league positions despite having a better squad than us and a 3rd of the season to finish just one point above us.

Pretty much did a Keano by buying the Championship, given the budget would have been harder to fail but made hard work of it.

Back into the Prem and due to his dealings last season he now has a massively inflated squad on big money and long contracts that he cant get rid of.....Problem is he recruited Championship players not Premier league players.

He has been an absolute failure but will walk away with reputation in tact as the scum will blame Ashley.

Dummett. Gamez can play both I think. Is that Haidara still there? I think Clark can play there too.

Very much doubt it, will be even worse when Rafa walks, he won't stop there. They'll be scrapping at the bottom like we were and hopefully they get dragged into the bottom 3 and come back down.

Summers out til October. Haidars was the lad who McManaman murdered wasn't he? Gamez wears clogs and they need Clark at centre half. They're exposed.

On another note Tim Krul must've done something bad to go from first choice number one without question to persona non gratis

They'll have that kid they paid a bit for from spain back soon to play with Lascelles so might move Clark to LB. I think their biggest issues will be scoring goals, Benitez can set teams up to defend.
