He spent this seasons money on Championship players to get out of the championship, now they have no one wants leave so he can't buy anymore players.
 
Rafa spent his premiership money 12 months ago, funny he is complaining about it now.....

Needs to start coaching / managing his squad really

He will probably jump ship at the first chance of an easier gig

I'll take a wild stab in the dark that he's from either Durham, Chester-Le-Street or Washington?
 
Basically they've done as we did under Keane, spent big to get out of the championship, then inevitably lumbered with bang average players on big wages noone can afford to buy and have to sell to buy.

For a club whose fans are obsessive about us they tend to blindly follow our failures.
