They have spent 35 million this year so far, it's not like they haven't spent money, I think they like us are always trying to buy a team of bargain's though, then fans look at Watford and Bournemouth buying players for 20 million but they might only get 2 players a year, instead of the 20 or so we both seem to buy.

There's got to be something said for not just assuming everyone you have is shit and just accept some players play for the team and others you can spend the money on

that would be glorious as Ashley wont sack him even if he loses every single match. He has a championship squad already so wouldnt need to buy any more players anyway.

No one can argue with that statement (although of course if you make 10 changes and include 3 players that you have declared are up for grabs - it could indicate that he didn't really want to win it (I don't blame him, given the paucity of our current squad after a meagre transfer splurge)

We've actually spent quite a bit less than Brighton and Huddersfield (NET)

These are 2 clubs with a fraction of our revenue.

Why is that?
