Yes Benitez has spent a lot, but amid numerous sales totalling a similar amount. It's one of the few times 'Net Spend' is relevant.




I see this a lot, but it ignores they didn't spend in the years prior. It was over correcting a prior issue, which was poor investment.

He’s spent £90m in the last 3 windows. Rafa can’t shift on the players he bought last season. Hardly Ashley to blame.

It's just funny cos he's the problem. Mags think they are a big club and only a big name will do :lol:

Despite claiming to be such great fans, in so many ways it's their delusion, ego-centrism and expectations which is ruining their beloved toon.
 

Rafa is the first manager to stand up against Ashley this is one of many reasons we love him, Rafa needs backing from the board & fans
