Rafa. He's still not happy

They are cringeworthy as fuck the Mags like. 'Rafa' this and 'Rafa' that. Imagine thinking your big time enough to call your manager by his first name.

Cant wait til he fucks off so they can get Steve or Kevin back in again.

Embarrassing like. As a Sunderland fan, I just hope that Simon, or Si, does a good job for us.

Been saying all summer that Rafa Benitez has become increasingly frustrated at @nufc over the transfer policy. He is now at breaking point.

These "reports" are so pathetically aimed at enticing sad mags to buy whatever newspaper ffs.
He is NEVER EVER going to resign. JR is a bigger imbecile than he looks if he really believes that shit.
Whatever we think of the skunks, it is a big job and big club that hundreds of out of work managers all over Europe would love to get their hands on.
Benitez won't get a bigger job in England, and probably not in Europe where his recentish failures have lowered his standing in the game.
To walk out on 5m a year minimum is not an option either.
Another load of absolute bollocks from an absolutely shite newspaper.

If I had to hazard a guess I'd think you don't buy it then.....

Funny seeing journos on twitter say "interesting from Rafa" everytime he speaks. Mark Douglas brought a book out for winning the championship and in his work reuniting the City

That's gong to be my Christmas present to a couple of Mag mates if he leaves before then

He's definitely this type of bloke isn't he? Knows the fans usually distrust owners and plays on it to look good. Seen a few mags on facebook saying it's Ashley's fault already, so he gets a free ride if they balls it up this season and he walks.

Head still says they'll scrape enough points to stay up, but might be tight the way they've gone so far. Would love it if they start badly and we get to see a proper collective mag meltdown.

Thoroughly dislikable individual but he took them over and saved them as hall and shepherd were using the club like a piggy bank.
They were in a worse state than what the paddy jolly boys left safc to short.

Yeah, he's done plenty for them, not that their fans want to give him any credit. It's all subjective, but I would rather have had Ashley, as big, fat and repugnant as he is, than Short, who is incompetent.

About the only thing you can say about Ashley is that he has a £100m loan that - if he ever sells - Newcastle would owe repayments on. Short doesn't (he capitalised the loan his company gave to us), but we're in the worse position because of it because Short now won't sell to interested parties until he's recouped the loan he capitalised with a higher selling price.

I said it last year when he was buying Championship players on bigger contracts that he would get them up and not be able to shift any then end up shit creek and walking leaving them in just about a worse place before he joined.

Nailed on for him to go around September i reckon.

The ASDA marketing department already planning a 2 for 1 offer on white bedsheets in september in there Fawdon branch.;):)

Sure I seen somewhere that Benitez told a lot of the squad that they won't be in his plans this season, now if that's correct and he's obviously not getting the players in he wants then this could well come back to bite him on his fat arse as none of those players he's instantly deemed good enough are going to give a shit are they?

And (if true) it's not how I would see a world class manager doing things...it's seems extremely short sighted and very arrogant of the man.

I suspect as a few others on here have mentioned that he is good with a chequebook and not much else....he'll be off very shortly if money isn't made available.

You're right that it's the wrong thing to do, but it's exactly what world class managers do. Conte even did it to Costa 2 months ago mate :D

Yeah but Conte and Jose can then go out and buy a 70 million quid replacement, Benitez can't.

If he can't get the players in he needs then he needs the players he already has playing well and not alienating them.

My point being that I don't rate him as world class, he wouldn't be where he is if he was.

They're basically his PR team at this point. Honestly worse than a lot of Newcastle fans
