Benitez's lowest position after a full season in charge in 7th, his highest is 2nd. Benitez' highest points total is 86. Sam Allardyce's highest league finish is 6th. His highest points total is 56.
Allardyce has a W/D/L ratio in the Premier League of 165/130/192 33% wins 39% losses
Benitez has a W/D/L ratio in the Premier League of 144/65/55 55% wins 21% losses

Benitez has won promotions, leagues and cups across Europes. Allardyce has won promotion 4 times, twice via the play offs.
I did say a better premier league manager

I think benetiz took extremadura up, and got them.relegated so i think you are talking bollocks?

I can actually taste the bitterness on here, actual name calling and all sorts, smacks of a small time lower league club desperately trying to convince themselves that hes not a good manager to make themselves feel better about their continuing plight

You'd be mistaken then, because it's a Sunderland fan saying it. The club that have spent the last ten years in the top flight, in which time you've been relegated a couple of times. Once with Benitez in charge.

Your comment was desperate, and very transparent.

Tbf loads of them on twatter - gan have a look.

Here is just the first one that comes up, didnt read all the comments there is f***ing tonnes.

That doesnt mean he will be any good, just that ive read a load of Arsenal fans that think the lad is decent - I havent the foggiest.

One thing the Gray deal shows though, you're going to have to spend serious money to get a half decent striker in the premier league,it's going to be tough for you're lot to make any impression in the transfer market this season, especially in attacking areas, unless Mr Sports Direct has a change of heart.

Aye, attacking players of any real quality are out of our reach at the moment. That said, there's a few teams who survived with strikers who didn't score a huge number of goals. We've been decent from set pieces under Benitez, and we've plenty of wingers now, so hopefully the rest of the team can help out on that front. It'll take a gamble on a player from the lower or foreign leagues paying off before we see a 15 goal a season striker at St James' imo.

Manchester & Liverpool have a huge recent history with League titles, FA Cup wins, CL trophies etc ...... Newcastle don't come close to comparing with that.
Which is why I mentioned the other factors, which included competitiveness. Seen with Leicester, it takes more than just 1 league title to be able to attract the big boys.

Rafa will leave, my mag mates are sh*tting themselves at the moment and think the same, they worried about the players they have brought in and why other players keep turning them down, as a joke today I said to one of my mag mates Rafa saying he is unhappy and will leave by the end of next week and Big Joe Kinnear will be in charge, he said don't even joke about that :lol: love to see the mags squirm:lol:
