It also sums up modern football management, playing a game of Champ manager in the media. Its all about me. Th worst thing about it all os Benitez prentending he is only there for the fans and tbe city, he is there for himself, tbe money and to pursue his career, same as all managers, its what they do. The melodrama is nowt but a soap or a reality TV programme. Its all a bit pathetic really

I didn't there was.

But spending £2m on 10 players, to rebuild a squad relegated from the PL, and not being able to bring in a striker because we can't afford one is setting the bloke up to fail rather than a reason to proclaim it as a good thing.
