MeltWas fairly close to this and it got much worse. One started doing monkey chants, couldn't see who. I shouted for them shut up but looked like only one young lad challenged the blokes .....sounded like he was offering them out by himself! Looked like 2 or 3 went for him with lots of scuffling but lad held his own before stewards came.
Total respect to the young lad but a shameful that he had to do it on his own. The bloke got arrested looked mid to late 40's.

The EDL have been quite active in Sunderland and the North East recently haven't they?
No doubt some of our fans doing the chanting have attended the recent rallies in Sunderland or are "supporters" of the EDL/North East casuals/Loyalist wankers.
Seen the odd racist post on the Sunderland Echo facebook page by people with Sunderland avatars who also, upon inspecting their Facebook page (stalker me like), they have posts supporting the EDL etc.

Racists people are not wanted by football clubs or society in general. people aren't born racist they need to learn it. Thankfully society casts racists as ignorant simpletons.
