However, surely you can forgive people for thinking you’re a wee nugget of shite for not castigating the bloke who made that comment. It may not harm you, but it’s not good crack like. I haven’t, not even in the slightest.

I do enjoy a debate/discussion I make no secret of that but the overreaction to what I’ve said (which isn’t a great deal really) has been way OTT.

Fair play to you if you have but I don’t think many of the brave caped crusaders on here would be quite as forthcoming in the same situation. I wouldn’t blame them either mind.

I have no issue with a black person not doing so by the way, doesn’t bother me it’s just interestsing how when shoe on other foot there’s a queue a mile long to join In the condemnation.

The devils advocate part is me bringing instances of racism in reverse and if you read through the thread there is very little condemnation of that and infact there’s far more of defence mounted for it than I have mounted for the lad who allegedly said this at burton. I haven’t defended him at all I’ve just stated that the comment wouldn’t bother me, I don’t think it would bother that many (not to extent people are going on on here a year) either and people are getting there knickers in a twist far more on here then they would in reality.

A hard nose like @Reiver might well pull someone up for it but I’d wager the vast majority of the outrage brigade on here wouldn’t say a word.

I can put you right on it. I've been in countries where I've been the minority due to being white, experienced racist language directed at me and my pals were always quick to defend me. You seem to believe that everyone has had the same experience you have had but it's so clear from this thread you've led a very sheltered life.

I not you have confirmed you do not think the comment is not racist.
Your comment alleges you have witnessed white people being racially abused but no black persons have condemned the behaviour.
You say you have given examples, as I can not find them could you provide the examples or links please?

I've only read the last three pages of the thread, but it seems everyone is desperate to make Jardine the bad guy for suggesting not everyone condemning the behaviour would say anything at the time. I agree with him to be honest although I have very different feelings towards what was apparently said at the game.

To be fair the racism mentioned by the OP was condemned at the time and corroborated by others.

@Mrjardine has said much worse than that quoted, the guy has complex issues in comprehending what constitutes racism.

I am still waiting for him to provide proof of his claim black people do not condemn racism against white people.
