Before the ODI there were various announcements about racist comments not being tolerated, criminal charges etc. fine with me.

Where we were there were a lot of VERY good natured Indian supporters who repeatedly sang "I'd rather be an Aussie than a P*k".

I won't even type it.

Now, does that constitute two convenings of the racism code?

If English had joined in would we have been hoyed out and/or locked up?

It didn't bother me too much just set me away thinking, is it double standards?

In passing while having a beer in the lunch interval I asked a couple of the local consatabulary for their take on it. They were good crack but their standpoint was basically, leave it, don't get involved.

Double standards?

I've been in the Western Terrace when a fair few Pakistan fans were chanting Ji'had at Steve Harmison when he was fielding on the boundary in front of us. I have abused my a footballer in my time but I thought that was a bit much!
