RIP Iain. Sad and shocking news.

Knew him quite well and he hated SAFC with a vengeance. He thought he got a raw deal from the fans. Sorry to hear of his death and my condolences to his family.

Bet you are good at starting fights at funerals.

Don't bother getting upset Mrs Miggins, he was banging your sister anyway.

I remember him cadging cups of tea of the fans down the front at errrhh Southend (iirc?) and pouring it on his gloves to make them sticky! He helped dig us out of the worst hole weve ever been in so fair play to the lad.

Sad news - he was the keeper when I started going regular. I remember when the club had a training day at Roker and he was the one I remember cracking on with the fans in the paddocks rather than just signing autographs and moving on at the end.
