Tell what?I have gone through and can't find the specific areas you don't yet understand. Please tell.
The things you don't understand. You said there are a lot of themTell what?
Too many to go into. The things you don't understand. You said there are a lot of them
You are very happy to spend hours and hours on the things you do know. Why not two minutes on the things you don't? You don't need to list everything, just a few.Too many to go into.
There's lots of things each individual doesn't know. You are very happy to spend hours and hours on the things you do know. Why not two minutes on the things you don't? You don't need to list everything, just a few.
...stating as 'fact' You dont do that right? As I said. It's a dome
But that's what you're suggesting by claiming those star trails are mirror images.and what you see on Earth under it will vary depending on where each person is standing.
It's not like you can look in the sky and immediately see a mirror image of what's in the sky much farther than you.
Yes, the moon appears the other way around if you're looking at it from the other side of a globe. But if "mirror images" was the explanation for that pic, we would see the moon both upright and reversed at the same time. But you are aware the points of light do get seen in a different orientation as you go farther afield into what you think is a southern hemisphere, just as the moon reflection is shown upside down...and so on.
As in how else would you be able to see the stars and their reflections if you could not see both sides of the dome? Do your reflections curve now?As in, how?
MeaninglessWhatever's reflected is in the realms of what we see. In my opinion.
And you're missing the point entirely, perhaps on purpose while then rolling the eyes as if the whole of the rest of the world is stupid. You're simply thinking they're millions and billions of miles away and light years away and are trying to gauge stuff based on those thoughts.
The stuff these people fill us with is sci-fi fantastical but it really does beggar belief and makes me do this on a regular basis.![]()
One of your most often repeated bits of nonsense. The horizon is the last bit of Earth you can see before the curvature takes it out of your line of vision. Not imaginary, not theoretical. A physical and usually very visible and factual thing. The horizon is simply the vanishing point to your eyes. It becomes a theoretical line or an imaginary line.
They are not, if we're on a rotating globe in orbit around the Sun but make no sense in Domeland.Points of light maps are fine. They help navigation around the circle under the dome.
Why should they be inaccurate?
Very vague and non-specific."No vagaries, as your previous posted indicated, this is specific."

Safest to assume "all"The things you don't understand. You said there are a lot of them
Your mindset is entirely on the defence of an indefensible nonsense of a theory at all costs. You have made up your mind about one thing and are prepared to reject facts and spout unlimited nonsense in order to defend that one false belief. There's lots of things each individual doesn't know.
I do not feel any need to go into what I don't understand or know.
My mindset is on trying to figure out all the unknowns or the misunderstandings or the misinformation just as much as trying to understand the realities of life and people and so on.
I'll let you decide."The user called Sceptimatic in the post i showed from the flat earth site is nukehasslefan"
Is this this true @Nukehasslefan ?
Why not just say one way or another?I'll let you decide.
To me honest I could level that to you but it gets us nowhere.Your mindset is entirely on the defence of an indefensible nonsense of a theory at all costs. You have made up your mind about one thing and are prepared to reject facts and spout unlimited nonsense in order to defend that one false belief.
No need, I'm sure you and others will decide for yourselves without my help. Why not just say one way or another?
it all makes sense to him in his musings and that's all that matters. It's what he's offering, and he is fine with that. Take it how you will, he doesn't expect you to change your views with your globe mindset that has been laid out for you....stating as 'fact' You dont do that right?

It's simple. If you can see stars on your left and the same stars reflected on the right at the same size, then it follows that the supposed reflective dome is equally distant from your viewpoint in both directions.
One of your most often repeated bits of nonsense. The horizon is the last bit of Earth you can see before the curvature takes it out of your line of vision. Not imaginary, not theoretical. A physical and usually very visible and factual thing.
But you're only using it to avoid the point I was making. Your reflections don't add up. Your dome has to be so massive as to be relatively flat directly above us or else we could quite easily see and reach the centre or outer edges. At the same time it must be small enough that something on one side can be visible in reflection on the other side at the same size. It does not work.
They are not, if we're on a rotating globe in orbit around the Sun but make no sense in Domeland.

The flat earth rule book of saying proof doesn't exist, never offering proof etc leads bleeds into all area. In this case he can't even say yes or no to whether he's a username on a website. Why not just say one way or another?
You could try, but you'd still be the one with no supporting evidence for your view and a huge pile of evidence proving you wrong, on your "ignore at all costs" list.To me honest I could level that to you but it gets us nowhere.
But it's not a thing to decide, it's a simple matter of fact you are or you aren't?To me honest I could level that to you but it gets us nowhere.
No need, I'm sure you and others will decide for yourselves without my help.
As I said, we can argue evidence all day long but what are you relying on?You could try, but you'd still be the one with no supporting evidence for your view and a huge pile of evidence proving you wrong, on your "ignore at all costs" list.
You've not read the last few pages? As I said, we can argue evidence all day long but what are you relying on?
Let's strip it all down to the bare skin and bone, plus a seat each.
Where's your evidence?
Where is your's? You are proposing the well established facts are wrong, the onus is on you to evidence your argumentWhere's your evidence?
I've been told I'm all kinds of things from jobs to living in a basement waiting for my giro and a whole host of other stuff, some of which could be true or all of it may not be true as I know it but to those offering it, it can be their truth based on how they vision me. Add this one in as an extra in this category and decide for yourself if it's true. But it's not a thing to decide, it's a simple matter of fact you are or you aren't?
You seem to have decided the name is me so why don't you scrutinise what the name says and expose me to whatever it is you think needs exposing?I assume you won't confirm if it is true as it will expose you to wider scrutiny.
It's all up to you to decide for yourself. Go with whatever your time allows you to do or your interest. If you say it's not you you expose your dense stacking diagram to being something you've appealed to authority for
Life is a web. Life is a maze."Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!" (Sir Walter Scott, 1808)
that's called crediting your source btw![]()
I think you missed the point. You've not read the last few pages?
I've offered my thoughts and they've been discarded as I expected. I wouldn't expect anything less.Where is your's? You are proposing the well established facts are wrong, the onus is on you to evidence your argument
If someone gave you a box and said 'all the evidence you need is in here'I think you missed the point.
To me honest I could level that to you but it gets us nowhere.
"The lady doth protest too much, methinks" is a line from the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It is spoken by Queen Gertrude in response to the insincere overactingI've been told I'm all kinds of things from jobs to living in a basement waiting for my giro and a whole host of other stuff, some of which could be true or all of it may not be true as I know it but to those offering it, it can be their truth based on how they vision me. Add this one in as an extra in this category and decide for yourself if it's true.
The thing is if I denied being in a basement in a string vest and gravy-stained underpants on, or denied being a painter and decorator or any other job bandied about or wasting giro money on coke and pizzas, then some will call me a liar.
However, if I say I am living in a basement and do spend my giro on coke and pizza then some will accept that as me being truthful, yet some will wonder if I'm just teasing and so on.
So what I'm saying is, there's no need for me to answer this extra question, just do your own investigations if it interests you and then decide for yourself.
If one way or the other changes anything for you for the better then, use that thought.
You seem to have decided the name is me so why don't you scrutinise what the name says and expose me to whatever it is you think needs exposing?
It's all up to you to decide for yourself. Go with whatever your time allows you to do or your interest.
I'm just a nutcase remember so are you trying to expose me to being a fruit and nutcase or what?
Life is a web. Life is a maze.
The conundrum is in being trapped in the web and think it's fine or evaluating it and being careful. The maze is another where your entry and path to the end product takes many alternate ways and until anyone gets to the end, only they can offer their route as provable if they take the sceptics to that end, otherwise, it becomes a truth knowable only to that person and comes down to acceptance of honesty if only the story of it gets told.
This is where we're all at.
I think you missed the point.
I've offered my thoughts and they've been discarded as I expected. I wouldn't expect anything less.
My thoughts can be food for some and poison to others.
This is what I offer.
Now, where's your personal evidence,
The highlight is key.
