If its dismissed without you doing it yourself and providing evidence then his whole argument collapses on itself.

Being pedantic, I don't believe your profile picture has landed on the moon.

There is no doubt however that more than one Apollo lunar module has landed on the moon

Exactly. Which is why the wording has now changed. You are now allowed to appeal to authority, but it will still be dismissed.
If however, you offer something with no appeal to authority, it will either be ignored or dismissed as an appeal to authority anyway.

But if you say you have done it yourself then that is dismissed, ignored or he just asks the same questions again and again until you give up and such the matter is closed. There is quite a lot on this thread about observations and measurements I've made. The most recent being the whole "How come the craters never change we never get new ones". Followed up with loads of articles showing how we do - appeal to authority. Said that I had imaged parts of the moon and followed up after a report of a asteroid strike being observed and could verify a new crater. "So did you see this yourself", "Yes", "So did you see this yourself", "Yes", "So did you see this yourself", "Yes, ffs can't be arsed any more".

It has happened many times on this thread. Me demonstrating there was no pressure difference from ceiling to floor in my data centre yet objects still fall. I was either wrong or my sensors were faulty. But if I swapped the sensors around, the fault moved with location. Funny that.

Similar with the maths. "Oh you have just been schooled into thinking these magical equations are the right ones to use, but can you tell me why, it is just an appeal to authority and something you might think you understand but don't". "Well no, I derived them from first principals and can describe how. When checked they match the work of others before me", "But that is an appeal to authority".

The general gist from all conspiracy theorists is don't believe what you are told, get out there and investigate it yourself, do your own experiments and find your own truth. Unless that truth goes against the mainstream conspiracy they all seem to independently agree on, seemingly without experiments and results (or at least none that are ever shared), no maths to back up or prove anything and seem to be plucked out of thin air. If you have done it yourself and it doesn't prove the earth is flat, Australia doesn't exist, weasels turn into filigree eggs with a dab or turps, etc, then your experiment was just wrong. No reason why it is wrong, no break down and pointing out a mistake in an equation or a flaw in your method that could be caused by something else, just the old favourite "nah bollocks".

It is a religion and what they believe in has no evidence apart from what they have made up and believe in their heart. Best way to pretend it isn't is to dismiss all scientific evidence to the contrary, and because that no longer exists, tell everyone else they are following a religion for exactly the same reasons.

I remember the data centre thing. Didn't he start to make up new rules like the room had to be sealed with no external forces messing up the air, i.e. like a person standing in the room. When asked why this set of rules wasn't imposed for the outside world where there's all sorts of weather effects happening he just moved on and ignored.

Weather doesn't exist as we know it on the so called globe which we supposedly walk upon.
It's just bariatric atmospheric expansion

Pretty much. It was the adding of the dense mass and all that sort of stuff. Oh and the room had to be a perfect empty cube. But it didn't get around the fact of equal pressure, largely caused by floor air vents pumping air up at a fair old rate which would jiggle up any such stack or atmospheric separation.

That is one of the things we get with our atmosphere. There are certain drinks or mixes of stuff (Yorkshire pudding batter) will separate out into layers if left in the fridge overnight. But start mixing it and it will remain mixed up for hours. Do that outside and any well defined layer will instantly be lost with basic weather patterns. Over large distances, such as the height of a mountain then granted the air is thinner, but we can drop stuff 10 cm with ease when the pressure difference is pretty much nothing.

Should do an experiment with groups who walk north as far as they can and groups who walk south. All the people who walk north no matter where they started would hit the area of too cold for man or machine and become frozen if they didn't stop in the flat earth model. Then a bunch aim south (I mean opposite of north), they should send up at all different parts on the outer rim of the disc.

If the earth is a beach ball both groups will be able to keep going past their north and opposite north directions and meet up.
