[/QUOTE]Try religion.
Anything can be drilled into the mindset of people who don't know any better.
How would the average Joe or Jane know what it was they were living on or who their god is?
One common theme I see popping up in your blabberings is religion and it being evidence that people believe what they are told. Religion started many centuries ago but people were far more susceptible compared to now. In a modern world, the belief in religion has declined since centuries ago and possibly quite a lot in just the last century. I'd dare say that in most developed countries religious belief will continue to fall and eventually in the future be a minority group or even cease to exist.How many people believe in a god ?
How many sections of people, each in their millions believe in their own religion and god?
Can any of them be wrong?
So are you saying that if you could put your own camera at a very high altitude, and know there was no fish eye lens in use, and it came back with photos showing the curve of the earth, that would prove nothing?No. I have no need to do such an experiment because it proves nothing either way.

Why?
So far agreed: Night/Day, Stars, North, Can measure angle to stars from horizon and stars appear to rotate around Polaris.Yeah I'll go along with that.
Then don’tYou've given him some ammunition here mind by saying you believe in a God. In the same way he apparently believes in his supercell earth with no evidence, you're doing something very similar with your belief in a God with no evidence.
He says all of the evidence for a global earth is made up by story tellers yet the same is true for God.
Not wanting to turn this into a religious debate but you opened the door.
To be fair, that's the kind of response we are getting from Nuke. No real answers to the point or points made.Then don’t
@Nukehasslefan I have stepped back from trying to provide evidence but I have found a video that is very interesting. I specifically think that Michelle Thaller has some very interesting points. There are also videos from the underside of the ISS where you can see close up items not distorted and a clear curve of the earth behind.
You must be logged on to see media items
The 2 main points that I like that are very easy to see are ships at sea and the lunar eclipse. Please watch and see what you think.
He has said that it could be a plane. A plane that moves really fast through the sky compared to any other plane, a plane that is always exactly where it is supposed to be (predictable by basic equations of orbits etc), a plane shaped like no other thing that can fly and a plane that nobody has ever seen land. So a very unusual plane. It also sends out radio signals that anyone with basic equipment can pick up.He doesnt believe in the ISS it isnt real in his musings and all space photos are faked - yes he is that stupid
Ok, you cannot prove their is a God.To be fair, that's the kind of response we are getting from Nuke. No real answers to the point or points made.
Ok, you cannot prove their is a God.
However, you can prove the earth is a globe.
Huge difference and not really comparable and appropriate for this thread.

I saw that being quoted by Ricky Gervais but don't know if it's his own or he was quoting someone else. It's true though.Can't remember who said it, but the quote was something like;
If the whole of human history and learning was erased and we found ourselves where we were 5000 years ago, we'd eventually relearn the science that we know. Religion might exist and start up again but it wouldn't be the same. But science would.
Great quote mateyCan't remember who said it, but the quote was something like;

The thing is there are many religions, different cultures disagree on which religion is true.I answered with: Why are they pushing for people to follow their religion?

Whereas all normal people of all religions think the earth is a globe, I'll rephrase that KNOW the earth is a globe.
Autocorrect nearly meant I said the earth is a glove, I'm not sure if that's more or less ridiculous than your theory![]()
Don't forget the projector!Thousands of years of research and science is rendered useless cos of a bath of water![]()
Because you could not fill a bath on a globe. Why? Fuck knows, but you can’t.Thousands of years of research and science is rendered useless cos of a bath of water![]()
