Punch on Brobbey

VAR should be thrown out of the window and never heard of again, it is ruining football. The inconsistency is dreadful at the moment and I really feel as if football is in danger of losing its soul. The powers that be need to be very careful as for me the game has gone as things stand.
I don't think it is, the people running it and making the decisions are.

How is that not a red and a penalty for us there? Surely Martinez is going to get done retrospectively?

I got home after the match to watch that garbage being passed as analysis. Frankly its days are numbered. Hangers on and has beens blowing off the so called big teams . The match stats showed we outplayed Man Utd in every area, yet the tools crapped on about Man Utd having an off day whilst failing to mention Sunderland showing them up for the bang average team they really are.
As it has been for as long as I have watched football, and I am ancient.
The big, sexy clubs don’t get beat. They have an off day, are unlucky or fall victim to poor referees who fail to protect them (Arsenal Wenger, for example, if opposition ever had the gall to play a physical game against them).
Jose Mourinho was a wonderful winner. Full of praise for the vanquished foes. Witty and full of humour in post match press conferences after Chelsea had hammered their latest opponents.
After a defeat…… not so much.
Surely Martinez is going to get done retrospectively?
Don’t wager any money on that matey. The bookie will see the benefit. I would say there is close to no chance of a retrospective anything. Other way around……… 🤔🤔🤔

Reminded me of the 90s when Fergie just ruled the roost and ensured man utd got pretty much everything off every ref and lino

That should have been a red and a pen for us. I think the ref knew he'd messed up as otherwise Angulo ought to have gone too, but he levelled up.
It's not really levelling up - them down to 10 for 30 minutes and a penalty to us versus us seeing out the last couple of minutes.

I used to pour cold water on the conspiracy theories about ‘big club bias’ but some games (and last weekend's was a prime example) suggest there’s definitely something in it.

I’m just waiting for the charity auction of the Man Utd top the VAR officials were all wearing to start.
