Protest At The Man United Game

A lot of people were changing Moyes out after the second goal outside of the stadium ha. That's when I left. No one can be arsed anymore. That's the worrying part. Genuinely people can not be fucked on and don't enjoy it. Nearly everyone i know have binned their season ticket.

The only person I know that hasn't renewed is the bloke sat next to me and his son. All the people sitting around have and all family and mates have. I've always said mind if you don't enjoy it anymore you're best of doing something else with your time. I still enjoyed yesterday, me and the bairn walked into town in the sunshine, had something to eat and headed over. Decent crack with the lads I've sat next to for years despite us being shit.

The craic was excellent. Sun and beers. 12 of us left as the second goal went in. 3/4 of them are home and away and have cancelled their season ticket. Wont go back under Moyes. Will renew if a new manager comes in.

Like I say mate that's their choice. There's a warped little part of me that's actually looking forward to the championship. I know a lad the goes to just about every Rangers game, he absolutely loved following them in the third division. Mind you it's a lot easier when you're winning. Moyes won't be here forever and those lads will come back one day, it's in them, it's what we do.

Of the ST holders around me about 1/4 to 1/3 weren't there today which is pretty much unheard of.

I never understand this won't go back under this person that person, maybe with Di Canio if you were massively against his politics.
What are they going to do if we win the first ten games of next season?

So you won't be going back to watch Sunderland play until Moyes goes?

Their decision. He has made football boring. I don't get why your give up time for bordem.
My God, it was dull under Bruce, MON, Poyet even BSA. When was the last time Sunderland weren't boring to watch?

moyes of style is of a man out of ideas
his team are nowhere near as fit as they were un Fat sam
his inability to get Fat wahbi fit and use him meaningfully is shocking
his everton buys are worrying as are dildobudgie and manquillo both never used as the cack
is attitude is defeatist and hyper negative.
he looks a spent force

At least we were scoring goals and winning the odd game.

We've only won 5 games so far this season and have failed to score in 10 of our last 11 games. Very few clubs in world football would manage to attract a crowd in excess of 43k to continue to watch that dross.

They'll be in for a shock next season as unless something drastic is done in the dummer, I can see our attendances being halved.

We want to see improvement, we want to see ambition, we don't want to be led by a negative manager with negative tactics.

I won't attend any games next season if moyes is in charge full stop. He should not be allowed time to rebuild. He is a massive part of what is wrong here.
Fair enough. Rightly or wrongly this will be my 9th relegation with Sunderland (including to the 3rd Div) so I can accept this is part of following my team. I'm not happy about it but will look forward to next season and have the same hopes. I've struggled to enjoy that much of our time in the Premiership, except the fact that I go with my kids and enjoy time with them, so hope that next season may even be more enjoyable. Of course, it may not be any more enjoyable but that is part of being a fan.

I can't see our attendance halved - I can see them going down to 30K-35K. Funnily enough my 14 year old has been down there with 10 of his mates to get their season tickets - first time he's sat on his own - half those lads are new season tickets. Life goes on and we follow our team through the ups and downs. The noises coming out the club are that we are planning for a Championship season with the intention of planning for promotion - that's what I want hear as I will be there with my mates (and one of my kids!) regardless. Moyes has made mistakes undoubtedly, especially his comments after the Boro game but his approach as always been that way and if could ever achieve what he did at Everton its all we want. This relegation has been coming for years - we have been very lucky not go down for about 4 or 5 years.
