Protest At The Man United Game

The Murray protests did work. He was overall a canny owner for us but by the last season he'd lost the plot. Needed to go.

They didn't like. All we got was John Featherstone as chairman in the 90's with Bob still owning the majority of the club. By the time Murray did sell it was only because he had a buyer with the interest of the club at heart. It had nowt to do with protests.

The protests in 2006 I mean. They were important in drawing attention to the state of SAFC for Quinny and also made Murray want out urgently.

Was going alright until Short turned up. It's actually our compliance that's led to this.

We were going bust when Short turned up - proportionately, the debt was just as bad when they sold out. The first thing Short did was to turn half of their debt into share capital to stabilise things.
