Protest At The Man United Game

Who you protesting to? Ellis short won't be there and won't care. Martin Bain won't give a shit either. It might get picked on camera but that will probably achieve nothing.
My advice is to reflect on 5 years of relegation struggles finally catching up with us and be philosophical about the future

You have obviously never been part of a union, thats exactly what you do and how you start to get the ball moving on change, with the attitude of whats the point and they wont care is that of a scab to be honest, Ive said it before you either sit and do nothing together or get up to voice your concerns and stand together.....its has shown in every industry that ut works

It's very difficult to get the ball rolling on something like this, but once it is it will snowball. A few bits of advice -

Work out what it is you want. Is it just Moyes out, Moyes and Short? How is that going to happen? Can you explain it in one or two sentences? A coherent message from everyone involved makes a huge difference. Think about everything you can potentially be asked, don't get caught out. Imagine you're on talk sport and they're being dickheads. Not hard to do ;)

Make the protest format simple and easy to implement. Unfortunately you're appealing to people's laziness but if you want the numbers...

Be prepared for abuse. Most Sunderland supporters are frightened of piping up, frankly. Big Men on here won't say boo to a goose in real life. They'll have a dig at you rather than at the club.

Best of luck with it.

As loyal fans we have did our bit in supporting the players, club and for most owner, however we've had very little back in return. It's time for a change...

Nonsense .....

Why the desperation to criticise / mock people who want to protest?

Go to the match, don't go to the match. Protest, don't protest. Leave when the second goes in, stay until the end. Tell the players how shite they are, or sit comatose in your seat.

People have a right to do what they want, if some are of the view that protesting is what they want to do, good luck to them. None of it is exactly going to damage our relegation 'fight', is it?

This Pavlovian response of 'Mag' and abuse of fellow supporters who suggest protesting is really weird, borderline suspicious.

Good post and completely right.

This.

Something succint should suffice.

My vote:

42000 average gate, englands 7th highest in a decade,
80 wins in a decade = worst record in england.

Stop abusing the loyalty!

Or some shit like that.
