"However, when asked which three people, living or dead, would make up his ideal dinner party, his answer was: “Margaret Thatcher; Stephen Fry; Graham Ward (my tutor at university who is now Regius Professor of Divinity at Oxford)"

So it's Donald with what I assume is the majority stake, and Methven with enough skin in the game to give him some clout. People keep talking about scope for others to come on board, but that's fairly boilerplate language at this stage if you are looking for someone else. My guess is they'll try to get us promoted then bring someone on.

He says the right things about the league one budget.

Anyone got anything approaching a transcript?

There is a video on Facebook...

Was positive however, no other investment and he has to pay 40m to short within 2 year and pay millions in outstanding transfer fees oweed to other clubs and bankroll our promotional push. Thought he wasn't that wealthy in footballing terms ?

Heres some of it

do you have to be an owner for a certain amount of time before you can sell?

not that i expect him to do it mind but could he spend buttons in footballing terms, get us promoted then sell us for a hefty profit in 12 months?

He’s inline to make a packet on this deal and we all win if he does, he’s got the club on the cheap had the debt cleared and if he rights the ship gets us promoted and running well off the field he could come out of the other end rolling in it. Fingers crossed this all works out, I’d feel better if we had more backers but maybe we need just the hundred percent focus of a bloke with experience of football to sort us out rather than with short who had the coin but nee idea how to run a club and by the end zero interest in doing so.

I’m sure that he could sell the club tomorrow if he wishes.

If we are to assume the budget is 5m. That's about what the entire division spent last year.

Should be more than enough if we get the right manager and can build a squad with the promising young players and without the shirkers.

This seems to be the common perception on here but does it really stand examination. According to Bain we will need over a dozen players. We don’t have a decent striker nor keeper, probably won’t have a defence. It’s a lot by L1 standards but it’s not a lot spread across a dozen players. Is there any wisdom in giving a L1 standard player a three year contract if he’s likely to struggle in the Championship. We need a team that can grow together not one that needs replacing if we go up.

Coming out and telling everyone you're minted seems like a mental of and probably adds a wedge onto every bit of business we're going to make.

The Tory boy alongside him seems sensible enough though, I bet he keeps things grounded.

New manager by the weekend is positive though I fear it's going to be a new low moment.

Yep, it’s vital we appoint the right manager now.
