Premier League TV Selection Dates 2025/26

This is beyond a joke now, I have flights and hotels to book. Tv companies dont give a toss about the match going fans

I've got Xmas care to sort out for a family member. But the rest of my family and the carers aren't important to the powers that be.... the PL and TV Co's just disregard their own deadlines and ignore the impact on those who bring the atmosphere to their matches.

I hate them with a passion.

Our owners are now a 1/20th part owner of the PL. Fans putting pressure on individual clubs is the way to go about it

I think the aim is 6 weeks so they give themselves room to get away with being late

Also absolutely no Way will the club ever complain with the money involved

6 weeks is a joke. Means we could be waiting another fortnight to hear something.

If Leeds gets moved to boxing day and no public transport, wouldn't it be refreshing to see the club organise some busses. Say one from Middlesbrough area. One from Manchester area..one from Northumberland. Speak to the branches and do a few pick ups along the way. Would cost pennies for the club but would be a fantastic gesture
Even if they charged and gave the money to the foundation so they had sensible knowledge of numbers, nothing stupid but £10/£15 and say its paying for a Christmas meal for somebody wo cant afford it. That way you dont have to do any real research but pick a few areas and if only 8 people pay by the deadline you get a mini bus but if 150 do then its 3 coaches.

I think a coach is about £2k for the day , the club could easily stump up for a few .

I dont mean to cover the price but if you just sent out an email or whatever saying we are paying for travel from x,y,z you'd get everyone saying yes and many not turning up because it hasnt cost them anything. You'd also get a fair amount saying well my number 3 from Hylton Castle isnt on so can the club pay for my taxi , so if you just set a small charge you'd get a much better understanding on how many you'd actually need, you'd not just get people turning up on the day saying well it free so why cant I get on without a ticket and it stops people thinking others are getting it for free.

Personally I'd make it that if any game was changed for TV then the league had to cover at least away day travel, doesnt matter if its Boxing day or a random Monday night in March.

Aye good points .

I'd go through the branches first and see how many are interested and what numbers they have , and if they already have busses on.

If there was 10 from bishop Auckland, 10 from spennymoor, 20 from Durham etc... just put one bus on for that route. But aye, get people to pay a deposit

Could even just do a £10 but then you get a voucher for a pint/soft drink and a burger in the stadium. Plenty of options but the club should be on the front foot, they will get a heads up before the fans are told so they could have plans now and then have them actioned before any announcement to help fans when the obvious happens and we are playing at a crap time and loads either miss it or need a lift from miles away.

Dinar why there's so many moaning about no boxing day fixture (all fans, not just us). We've still got 2 home games during the Xmas hols and you get to see all the boxing day racing / attend Sedgefield races 😁👍
