Baxter the maestro

he's very poor, but nowhere close to being one of the worst ever signings (I suppose it depends on how long the list is and over what period). On his way to being one of the clubs worst ever signings and waste of wages

It’s at odds with our usually excellent recruitment. On paper Poveda ticked a lot of boxes, however l think the club soon realised that it’s an attitude issue, rather than someone who had a hunger to play and improve . The sooner we move him on the betterMad how recently we've been so careful and considerate with contracts fees sales etc then we hoy this fcuker a lotto win
Regi wants shot of him, he's been a disaster. The club won't get them all right but they definitely dropped a bollock with this lad. He's had all kinds of problems on and off the pitchMaybe Regi thinks he can do something with him still.
Tidied mateName The East Stand food kiosk after him.

Hardly singing his praises of you have dig through the archives to find someone more uselesshe's very poor, but nowhere close to being one of the worst ever signings (I suppose it depends on how long the list is and over what period).
He has a bad attitude, overweight even missed meet ups at the allotted time. And a sick note.what exactly is his issue i missed reading about it?
He even stopped mentioning him when talking about injured player in his press conferences after a whileRegi wants shot of him, he's been a disaster. The club won't get them all right but they definitely dropped a bollock with this lad. He's had all kinds of problems on and off the pitch
Yep. I noticed that. Barnes and co should have pushed for an answer. He even stopped mentioning him when talking about injured player in his press conferences after a while

WowThey have an agreement not to even bother mentioning him now, I can't go too much into what I have heard because it would be obvious where it's come from but put it this way, there's about as much chance of me playing for Sunderland next season in a strike partnership with Harry Kane than there is of Poveda playing for us
Not sure how far it goes mateWow
Big bust up then. Then he must be in some kind of breach of contract?
Which one. 2031?Just needs a good pre season.
They've not been paying anyone wages never mind half…Sheffield Wednesday having that transfer embargo, does that include loans? If not, I say just loan him to them, have them pay half his wages and try and get him back playing where he was loved, maybe we could then sell him the summer after.

That's been the philosophy with most of this regime's transfers. Low outlay but high risk as to whether they'll come off or not. There was no difference with the Poveda deal apart from the fact that so far, it hasn't come off at all.I can see why we signed, taking a risk with his fitness but no transfer fee.
It hasn't worked out, and if the rumours are true that he doesn't look after himself off the pitch then we need to get rid.
The club gets more right than it gets wrong and no-one needs to bay for blood on this one.
