What time do players have to be at SoL before a game? Is it an hour or an hour and a half? Even if it's 7pm, being 20 mins late is ridiculous!
Arriving at the ground around 20 minutes before the teams walk out for the match (and about 5 minutes before their pre-match warm up) is a bit of a piss-take like, he can't have been surprised he was dropped if that arrival time is true.

Just bite the bullet and terminate his contract. Nobody is going to give us what the club will eventually fork out on him over 3 years
I thought that would mean we need to pay him off. Which costs us more as his salary value won't depreciate by inflation if it is paid up front.

No player is good when he doesn't play. His injury record suggests that'll always be the case. However this time last season for Sheffield Wednesday he was playing better than Roberts ever has for us. I wonder if it was disciplinary reasons or injury he wasn't in the squad yesterday.
Utter bollocks.
And to think some of us got absolute belters for pointing out what a shit signing this was when he first signed

It was never going to work
Yep. Dare criticise Lord Speakman and the pitch forks are out. Awful signing. Looked an absolute mess when he rocked up. Granted he’s trimmed down a bit but he’s all far and no shite. Roberts is way better.

That’s absolute bullshit and something you’ve completely made up

He didn’t score or assist one single goal for sheff we’d last season.

I’m not roberts biggest fan but that’s a complete lie

That's what I'm saying about biting the bullet.

It could be said that having him in and around the club could be far more detrimental than losing a few extra quid. He clearly isn't going to change his ways. It's probably why he's been at so many clubs in the first place.

Pay him up and write it off as a bad mistake. Which is exactly what it is. How on Earth are the players going to feel about that man. You see lads like Hjelde and Moore, not getting game time, but turn up, are professional, do their best to support the group. And he's tossing it off. Get rid.
