Just made some, easy and bloody awesome.
It's basically cheesey chips covered in gravy
Where can you get cheese curds?
Cheese, chips and gravy? Sounds like one too many ingredients.
Cheese and gravy man
I get the feeling some people on here don't know what cheese curds are.
I don't really like cheesy chips but this is something else; try it!
I do, but Wyke farm vintage is more available.
Just finished it, wow, just wow.
Thought this was gonna be about Vladimir.
Yep, from the late 50's and it was in Goose Bay that I first tried it.
Had some in Montreal this year... wasn’t blown away tbh
Never had it when I was there- sister reckoned it was rank. I’ll give it a go when I’m over in the summer.
Had it recently in a Canadian burger place in Kraków. Sounds filthy, tastes filthy. I ordered more.
One of few meals where supping the cheese infested gravy is allowed. I feel rather fat and very content after my >£1 dinner
It kinda is what it is; real cheddar beats curds anyday
Proper poutine is great but often its done shit
one of a select bunch of meals that looks like you just puked it onto the plate before you have actually eaten it
Bread meats bread in Glesga does it. Not bad
Only if it's done right, proper crispy chips, sweet gravy and squeaky cheese curds, not mozzarella or any other kind of cheese.
It sure does like; mine wasn't shite though @Epping, but if you use crap cheese and smart price gravy then its easy to mess up.
Going to chop up a burger and hoy it in next time.
Hand crafted chips in a real chip pan is a must, can't beat them.
Sounds wrong. I going to give it a go
