The reality is that unless you're a London club, or Man Utd and Liverpool trading off their name, the rest of us have no chance, unless you get extremely lucky like Man City.

Spot on. I think Man City were chosen because they have Manchester in their name. The success and profile of their neighbours meant that City could piggyback on the Manchester name.

You’re telling me you wouldn’t want a documentary of your club on one of the biggest online streaming services in the world? Incredible publicity to a worldwide audience.

I know I sure was jealous watching the Man City one on Prime and the Juventus one on Netflix.

I’m delighted about the Netflix documentary, and every single one of my mates who are fans of other clubs would love one created about them.

The majority of football supporters around the world probably support a club that's more akin to Sunderland than Man City or Juventus. Plenty of raw emotion in STID, unlike the other two.

FWIW Pompey recently did their own documentary about their spectacular fall from grace. Premier is next month but it's only being shown locally (I wont be bothering to gan along like).

Agree by the way, was annoyed about it on a Saturday as after Cov it’s like visiting teams are taking liberties, but as clubs and fans we’ve never had a reason to dislike each other. Complete waste of energy IMO.
