Wonder what’ll happen to the bloke in the West Stand who punched the Pompey supporter in the first half. Got a standing ovation as the police took him away.

More of a sentence than the flare thrower. Which is where the system is wrong. Both should be locked up for a period and banned from games for life.

Spot on. They’ve been giving it large as the big fish in a small pond for ages. Now that another big fish has arrived in their pond, they’re suddenly trying harder, playing better, and getting tougher. Their fans should be thanking us for actually sparking their club’s erstwhile lazy players into action.

thanks for the money. i was talking to some pompey at a tube station on the way to charlton although why they would be going to charlton v sunderland bragging about going in our hospitality area was quite bemusing.

No ya didn't lying c.un.t cos i was right underneath ya. You were moved cos at least half a dozen of ya were standing there openly goading and gesturing the fans below.
The same boxes the Coventy fans were in i might add where the stewards did fuck all and it got very nasty. Thankfully this time they did the right thing and removed the problem.

Well, the video cameras that once again, one of Northumbria's finest , was filming down onto the lower North stand. This should give a clue as to just who threw the smoke bomb down from the upper tier North where all of the Portsmouth fans were.. Now you have to bear in mind that every Portsmouth fan entering the stadium was searched (I know as I watched them doing it) says a great deal about the incompetency of the security companies ( yes, there were more than one) that the club engaged to check for such weapons.....Over to you Mr Weir?
