Cricket, a very boring sport for very boring people. You are welcome to it, mind, you've been more boring than usual lately.
A sport that challenges you both mentally and physically over a long period of time but can also be very tactical and complex so it doesn't surprise me you give it a wide berth.

I'm sorry to hear that you are mentally and physically challenged. You are a terrible bore but I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

This is a nice civilised chat boys. With Jardine here crickets a great sport. I mean where else can you sit generally in the sun and have 8 hours of drinking in the name of sport?
That pompey match was my 1st in the Fulwell. Great day. Remember goodman n gray scoring who got the other? Forgot about the 9men malarkey n all. Years of disappointment have followed but we will struggle to be that bad again

Had a great time that day.

The Fulwell End was packed and noisy, we took turns hoisting each other up on our shoulders ...... incredible!

We bumped into a minibus load of Portsmouth, at Wetherby, on our way back to Mansfield.

Drank with them for an hour then the bastards attacked us when we went outside ........ wankers.

The same happened to us with Leicester once when we were on our way back from Forest.

Was hell on after the game,we got half way up Roker Baths Road when it went off, suddenly there was police horses arl ower and we got pushed into the side streets there was a canny battle going on in Beatrice Street,i nearly got knocked off my feet by a load of our lot piling through to join in the festivities, anyway i remember they had a couple of players sent off one for the first goal, some of their fans had put stickers all over the lads bogs in the New Derby with 'pompey chimes on tour' or some shite like that.

It's always civilised where I'm concerned but @T_Bone clear lack of breeding generally shines through.
Yes that Pompey game was a cracker. In clockstand that day.

Portsmouth fan grabbing the ref after Paul Walsh does his dying swan routine in the box and gets booked, the ref didn't flinch. These days Portsmouth would be playing behind closed doors for six months and the ref would be complaining in the Mirror about how he could have been killed a'la Steve Harper after Gyan scored in 2011

One of the most dreadful phrases in the English language ..........

I was only 12 so obviously not really a target but I remember swapping scarves with a Pompey fan after game, the bloke even chucked me on their bus and pretended to drive off with me.

RP was packed for this one & the confirmed gate of only 21,309 (StatCat) seemed well out to me.
Yeah that does stand out. Last home game of the season win need 5k away fans n only 21k when bearing in mind the same ground held 28k v the scum.6month earlier. Did the roker end get some chopping done that season or was bob doing the usual penny pinching?

That would be classed as child molestation now.you may have a claim!! :D

Lack of breeding ? Bit below the belt that one, but not surprising given the high esteem in which you hold yourself.

You'll have lectured them on their set up no doubt and bored the pants off them and they will have been relieved when they kicked you out at The Fort.
