Pop Recs - Supporting Local Gigs

Funnily enough, looked the Nightengakes gig up after I heard them on 6music & they ran through the tour dates after the song.

Unfortunately I’ll be landing back in Newcastle as the gig starts.

Heard enough to listen to them more like

Have you seen the film about them that Stewart Lee made? King Rocker. It is tremendous.
The original advert showed Thomas Truax as one of the supports - he is worth the ticket price on his own - unique! However, although his site shows him supporting at all the other Nightingales shows, Sunderland isn't listed. I'll be a bit gutted if he doesn't appear but the Nightingales will cheer me up again.

Terry Edwards is support at Pop Recs.

I’ll put it on the list
Terry Edwards is support at Pop Recs.
Is he a covers band that does a mixture of Terry Hall & Richie Edward’s songs?

Pop Recs own socials a bit quiet again . All been said but random band pages coming up on my feed because they're playing there soon and little on PR pages isn't ideal

Could be Getdown Services coming back to do the free gig they promised when they had to abandon their show last year.

🙏🙏🙏 Really hope so, they are a cracking live band and was gutted they had to abandon the set.

Met them in a takeaway, after they supported The Bug Club at Pop Recs, and they're sound lads.
