PIF sports funding

I think the ideal scenario is that PIF continues to own them, but invests the bare minimum to keep them going. I honestly don't understand how an investment fund would see owning a football club as something they're going to get big returns on. Especially as we move further into a world where being self sustainable is the expectation.

Well it was just an exercise in sports washing, job is done really

More snidey clickbait from Lee Snyder. The article is a statement from PIF that doesn’t mention the Mags at all, and their evidence for PIF’s commitment is a meeting Synder had with that Yank CEO where he regurgitated the same old waffley toss he’s been spouting from the start.
Yank CEO? Waffley toss? Don’t tell me Trumps only POTUS during his spare time from his main job?

And yet you’ve got complete wankers like Lee Ryder writing articles like this that try and convince everyone that pif are all in on Newcastle, have a guess how many mentions of Newcastle pif have actually made in this article……

This is one of the reasons they're still a mid table side and most of the country laughs at them.

Smoke is blown up their collective fundamental orifice's far too readily and from so many directions they can't see the horse for the herd.

Ryder compromised himself the moment he started work at the Ronnie Gill, and has since found new levels of toadying and inveigling his way in with murderers.

We all know the local press are a tool to be exploited by most sporting ventures but this bunch take it to new levels as usual.

Here's hoping the next ownership is Premier Foods plc, owner of the following brand

Inject it into my veins when PIF do fuck all this summer with them and the Mags start saying they should never have been accepted as owners due to who they are
Aye they've called Chelsea and man city cheats, and small clubs that have only won because of the money for years . major backtracking when they thought they were doing the same.

"The Newcastle United Code was introduced as the foundation of the club’s culture. It comprises the core values of One Club, Excellence, Relentless, Accountable and Integrity, supported by behaviours and principles designed to apply to all staff across the organisation. LM provided an update on the one-hundred-day review, noting that the new chief executive is now in place and that the Newcastle United Code emerged from this process."

A few weeks later they sold the Stadium to a Saudi controlled company that sits entirely outside of the group which owns nufc. The excellence, integrity and principles are positively flowing. The whoppers that follow the team don't appear to realise what a potentially shit move it is for the football club to become totally detached from the stadium. Puts them in the same company as other notable and troubled outfits such as Derby County, Wimbledon, Bolton Wanderers and Coventry City.
