Why would he go to sit on Villa’s bench? I can see him fancying Bournemouth, mind.
Villa’s No1 strongly rumoured to be leaving?

It's not guaranteed but they do need to sell and he's probably their most sellable asset. Was widely rumored to be off at the end of last season. Are they? I didn’t know that. Probably them then.
Only if someone wants to buy him for the price they wantHe'd be 1st choice for Villa. They are having to sell Martinez for PSR.
Get what you’re saying about the mayday experience, but no footballer will make a decision on their career based on stadium capacity imo like.Villa are walking a financial tight rope at the moment and need to sell to buy.
AFCB can only offer PL stability vs ‘ambitious project’. We can offer the same financial incentives as them and 46k vs 16k attendance home game experience.
I’m actually quite positive about this one.
Caveat: unless the Saudi gazumpers jumpin at the last minute.

It’s about what’s more of an attractive prospect for their career, not how big of an arena they’d be playing in, they aren’t a footy tourist.
He has agents in the palm of his hand, doubt the club themselves are dropping him info but he’s definitely got people who do give him it.In terms of Sunderland signings this transfer window I think we just need to wait for Romano to tweet something as he’s obviously being briefed by the club whenever something is close.
They do like, the fanbase is a huge part of footballGet what you’re saying about the mayday experience, but no footballer will make a decision on their career based on stadium capacity imo like.

True that, but if the ‘project’ is ambitious enough and backed by huge and impressive support it’s got to count for something. His former team mate and captain has bought into it, so why shouldn’t he.Get what you’re saying about the mayday experience, but no footballer will make a decision on their career based on stadium capacity imo like.

If they sell Martinez then FFP wise they can easily afford Petrovic with plenty left over to spend elsewhere.Villa are walking a financial tight rope at the moment and need to sell to buy.

No chance at all is a professional footballer making a decision based on the size of the area they’re going to play in, not having that like. They do like, the fanbase is a huge part of football
Yeah I agree, he could well look at our vision and what we can offer him career wise and choose us over the likes of Bournemouth because of the “project” etc. it’s entirely possible. But that’s what the decision would be made off, not off the size of the crowd.True that, but if the ‘project’ is ambitious enough and backed by huge and impressive support it’s got to count for something. And where their WoG wants to shop.No chance at all is a professional footballer making a decision based on the size of the area they’re going to play in, not having that like.
They make their decision based on money, opportunity, progression and level and pick the most attractive option either financially, or to play at the best level.
You’re right, the longer it drags on the more likely other options become available. We need to do this quickly. If they sell Martinez then FFP wise they can easily afford Petrovic with plenty left over to spend elsewhere.
We've got to try and get him signed up before that happens, and not let ourselves get into a situation where we are waiting for on his decision whilst he's just holding off waiting for Villa or someone else.
Still can’t see too many thinking Bournemouth a more attractive football destination than us like. Possibly a whole lifestyle thing though….No chance at all is a professional footballer making a decision based on the size of the area they’re going to play in, not having that like.

I don’t think you’re allowed to call them that anymore, in fact I don’t even think you’re allowed to have them anymore. And where their WoG wants to shop.

Ah yeah don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting for one minute that he couldn’t or wouldn’t sign for us, just that it’s ludicrous to suggest players would sign for a club based on stadium!I agree. To help him make his decision we should go and sign his club captain from last season so he's got a friendly face he trusts in the dressing room
If villa want him let's move onHope I am wrong but gut feeling is that Villa and Bournemouth will offer him more money.
